Happy Shark Week everyone!
If you know me then you know that I don’t like sharks.
Although I believe that sometimes you don’t like something just because you don’t much about it.
So every now and then, I do try to watch documentaries of sharks and learn how important they are to our ecosystem.
I do encourage you to also learn more about this misunderstood predators. I’m not saying that I’ve learn to like them. But I just know that I have been guilty of misunderstanding them and have deemed them as ALL bad. I can also admit that at some point in time, I had never cared for their existence and their survival. However, as I come to know more and more about them, I have realized my mistakes.
Just think about it… if you look at how much humans consume and kill, you would think we are worse than so many other predators. Yes, that includes the predators that got a bad reputation, specially on my end, because of movies like Jaws, Deep Blue Sea, The Shallows, 47 Meters Down, and many more. Sure, we’ve never heard of a shark trying to rescue a human being like Flipper!
